>The Screwtape Letters, now in its 70th anniversary year, is an iconic classic on spiritual warfare and the power of the devil. This profound and striking narrative takes the form of a series of letters from Screwtape, a devil high in the Infernal Civil Service, to his nephew Wormwood, a junior colleague engaged in his first mission on Earth trying to secure the damnation of a young man who has just become a Christian. Although the young man initially looks to be a willing victim, he changes his ways and is ‘lost’ to the young devil.

Their loyalty was to their families, their friends, and their kings. You crossed these men at your peril. And once crossed, there was no crossing back. Publisher's Summary
“A taut, brilliant thriller ripped right from today’s headlines. Joel Rosenberg is masterful! The Jerusalem Assassin is an absolute home run.” - Brad Thor, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Backlash
From the New York Times, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly bestselling author!
The enemy is invisible and moving fast. The body count is rising. And time is running out.
Marcus Ryker has spent his entire career studying killers. One thing he knows for sure: a peace summit is the ultimate stage for an assassination.
President Andrew Clarke is determined to announce his historic peace plan from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. But when senior American officials who support the plan begin violently dying, Clarke orders Ryker and his team of CIA operatives to hunt down those responsible and bring the killing spree to an end.
When the Palestinians denounce the American plan, the Saudis signal they may be ready to forge a historic treaty with Israel. Could the Saudi king’s support be the missing ingredient that will lead to peace at long last?
Ryker soon uncovers a chilling plot to kill the American president. A well-resourced international alliance is dead set against the peace plan. They will stop at nothing to strike a blow against the Americans and seize leadership of the Muslim world.
With all eyes on Jerusalem and the president in the crosshairs, it’s up to Ryker to eliminate the terrible evil that’s been set in motion. The fate of the region depends on his success. He has 48 hours.

Changing the narrator was a drastic mistake!
I haven't finished the book at this point. I'm sure that the story is going to be excellent, but the narrator is just ruining it for me and my husband. We love to listen to books when we are on the road, but it is always a bad idea to change narrators in the middle or the end of a series, especially when the original narrator is really good. We are very disappointed.

The narration is awful. I know the story is going to be good (hubby already listened and gives it a 5). I was ready to give up on the narration and I remembered to try adjusting the speed (I went to 1.20 X). It seems to help! If you are about to give up on the book, try this first!

The storyline was great! My only complaint is that I had a hard time getting use to the narrator’s voice and how he would pause to breathe during sentences. I enjoyed listening to the first two books more than this one.

Who would dare give this author less than 5
Mr Rosenberg is one of my favorite authors. He weaves a realistic story without the use of profanity. Gratuitous sex and violence just to fill the pages. He starts with a story and makes you love him and familiar characters. He knows the Middle East and geopolitical issues better than most. I’ve NEVER been disappointed with any of his books. I saw where other reviewers didn’t care for the narrator I personally loved him. Waiting for another great listen

Please bring bag Adam Grooper or hire Scott Brick. George Guidall has a great voice but lacks the vital voice acting ability to make your thriller, well thrilling.

Narrator ruins the story
I was looking forward to the last book in the series but I couldn’t listen to more than two chapters with this narrator. It sounds slurred and the energy and inflection are off. The voice changes for the characters don’t do much to distinguish them and certainly don’t bring them to life. I had to return the book. Maybe I’ll get a hard copy and read it the old fashioned way.
