I've read all this series, in fact just finished reading The vampires assistant. I love Amy's books and Joel Leslie is one of my favorite narrators.. he doesn't disappoint, bringing life to the characters and making the sex scenes hot, hot, hot!

Magical corporate entrepreneur Ozen is a very hungry incubus who has had a bad run with the feeders his PA has sourced. When Avery, his PA’s temporary placement, enters Ozen’s office to introduce himself, Ozen mistakes him for the latest feeder and although the virginal Avery should be saying no, he happily goes along with the feed. When the actual feeder arrives, it’s pretty clear he’s incompatible with Ozen who offers Avery the joint roles of PA and feeder. While things initially run well, neither Ozen nor Avery seem capable of keeping the relationship professional and with the spurned feeder’s lawsuit now pending, there seem to be a lot of head- and heart-aches in the in-tray!

This was creative and interesting—a joyful blend of supernatural and workplace romance, and it’s sweet, spicy and fun without much angst. Ozen is very much in control of his domain and it’s sweet watching him get so protective of Avery. While Avery is a saint and the perfect bubbly temp for the office, he’s had a tough upbringing, and he is happy to accept Ozen’s shielding and commands. Ozen has a few close supernatural friends (who will all get their own books) and it was great meeting them and watching them step up to protect Avery when needed. 🎧 Talented voice actor Joel Leslie gives another strong audio performance with a different accent for each character.
