About this listen

In the late 1800s, a retired gold miner named Sam, and his best friend Beauregard, embark on an amazing adventure after they are attacked by hairy monsters of the forest. These “Bigfoot creatures” capture Beauregard, Sam’s faithful hound dog, as he tries to protect Sam. The listener will go on an exciting journey with Sam as he tries to get his dog back from the hairy creatures.

Sam eventually discovers that his dog is under the control of these monsters, and so enlists the help of his friends, Lightning Bob and Mountain Jim. Sam travels through a deep dark gold mine, survives a rushing river and its adjacent waterfall, gets himself out of quicksand, jumps from a speeding wagon, and survives a fire in the little western town of Dusty Falls. Finally, Sam has a face-off with his enemies in a dramatic climax.

Kids and adults of all ages will enjoy this exciting tale with a twist ending.
