outstanding
loved every minute cannot wait for the next one as I dont really read much I will wait for the audiobook but im so hyped its scary

Alot more personal progress for 2/3 of the story.
Another good book. First third is slice of life Magic Academy building him up the 2nd part is the hounds training him in assassination and stealth (personally I skipped a lot of these chapters as I didn't find it to my taste of interesting and it didn't progress story) 3rd part of book the story (last 4 hrs) takes prime focus on story progression and really kick things off at the end of a hurricane of chaos. So the main character makes a lot of personal progress like Level ups so to speak and now at the end goes John Wick with magic and finally goes his own way of living.
So yes get this book if you like the series as it build up the Main Character to actually be a force on his own and it build up to what will happen over the next few books at least cause chaos and adventure. But if you don't like certain sections (like the hounds training) that's fine you don't miss much but do not skip anything of the last 3 hours. I am looking forward to the next book and to see if Elf girl comes back.

Another amazing addition to a great series
One of the most detailed and character driven series I’ve had to pleasure to enjoy. Eric grew a lot in the book and finally feels like he’s a force to be reckoned with. With enemies on all sides and split from the company he gains strength and cunning as he finally puts his hard earned stats and equipment to use to stay alive and help his friends survive the plot he’s been wrapped up in.
