From the best-selling author of The Stolen Bride series comes a brand-new and exciting family saga! For fans of Scottish historical romance, the Sutherland Legacy propels you into the Highlands with tales of daring adventure, irresistible heroes, and passion!

When Liam Sutherland was a lad of 15 summers, he saved a Sassenach lassie's life and secretly vowed to always keep her safe. As the prized warrior for his clan and youngest son of the laird, his responsibilities at the castle continue to mount, and just when he's about to forge a name for himself, he receives a mysterious missive that has the power to make him leave everything behind.

Cora Segrave, daughter of an English baron, owes her life to the Scot who saved her years ago during a border raid. When her family home is destroyed and they are taken prisoner, there is only one man she knows can save her - the one man she's never been able to forget.

Answering Cora's plea for aid will jeopardize Liam's reputation and maybe even cause a rift with his family, but a vow is a vow, and he cannot turn his back on her - or his heart. The only choice he has is to save her before it's too late and pray his family and king will understand. In saving her, just maybe he'll be able to save himself.

It was good... but that’s all

This is the second book I have read where I found the heroine to be kind of boring. I absolutely loved A Highlanders Gift, so I thought I would try another book by this author but I’m not sure I will continue. I started to lose interest towards the end. In fact I think I zoned out for the last chapter. I think Antony Ferguson does a wonderful job with his voices, although I didn’t care for how he made Robert the Bruce sound. He made him sound more noble and aristocratic, when I picture him as a mans man. He became king because he was a fighter and lead the Scots as rogues, so I didn’t care for his voice. But he does great accents and I love his voice for the Hero.

Lovely

I love all Eliza Knights love story. This one was a little twisted where Cara and Liam had a secret. I won’t say because I don’t want to be a spoiler. But it’s full of Knight fightings and action packed with a happily ever after. On to book 4 Happy reading 📖

The Secret Wife

I did like this story but not quite as much as the story of Blair. All of the books in this series were great and I have found the Highlander stories have become my all time favorite Anthony Ferguson is a great narrator for these books. His accent just makes the books so real to life.

less is more

I loved the story but it was really irritating when someone asked a question in the story it took 10 mins of the character analysing their feelings before it got back to the question. it felt like it was just getting padded out, the narrator was very good and engaging. puts me off getting anymore of her books unfortunately.
