Publisher's Summary

USA Today Best-Selling Series!

Just because she can see the dead doesn't mean Verity Long wants to spend her days hunting ghosts. Instead she's over the moon to land a marketing job at the local bank...until she finds her new boss dead in the vault. Even her ghost friend, Frankie, knows that's no way to start a career.

Relieved to let the police take charge, Verity steps aside, bound and determined to keep her ghost sightings to herself. But when she learns the main suspect in the murder is a very crooked, very dead mobster, Verity knows it's up to her to solve the case.

She teams up with her ghostly gangster buddy, Frankie, as well as the irresistible and charming Ellis, and the three of them search haunted mob hideouts, hidden passageways, and historic cemeteries for the facts behind the heist of the century - and a modern-day motive for murder.

Too bad uncovering the truth could very well make Verity the next victim....

Wild ride

Another great tale from the Verity Long series. Each book gets better and better. I enjoy listening to these books at work, riding in my car. They make me laugh and laugh. I love all the characters and even meeting new ones such as Suds. I look forward to the next adventure.

So far

This is my favorite so far. It seemed to be a little more hopeful, better rhythm and cadence. Seems there are many future options to take the story.

The Haunted Heist

I just love Verity Long and her ghostly adventures 💕. They’re entertaining, wistful, and laugh out loud funny! Tavia does an excellent job of narrating the book. Looking forward to Verity and Ellis’ next case (and let’s not forget Franky) ☺️

Light and Entertaining

Like the other two that came before, this is a wonderful little cozy mystery. It’s truly light and entertaining, an excellent book to put on when crocheting.

Love a book that keeps me guessing

Not only do we get laughs and action, we get a plot that thickens and twists. I'm not happy if I figure out who did it too early in the story. Not a problem for me here. These books just get better and better!

Light hearted ghostly jaunt

This is a light fluffy story that my wife and I enjoyed. I would compare this series to Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series.

A Fantastic Addition To The Series.

I am already a fan of this series, having read and loved the first two books in the series. I bought this on Kindle and added the audible version at a reduced rate, alternating between reading and listening to the story.

As you can tell by my 5 star rating, I really loved everything about this story; the writing style was easy to read, the plot developed at a good pace, I loved the characters and the situations they found themselves in and I enjoyed trying to work out the mystery aspect.

As a narrated book, I was impressed with Tavia Gilbert's performance; loving her tonal adjustments for the dialogue and the pace at which she read the story. I would definitely buy books narrated by her in the future.
