I love everything about these books. The mystery, the search for her family line, the friendships, the baking and the recipes. She’s a great sleuth! I highly recommend giving these a read or a listen! 11/10

Overall I liked this story and look forward to continuing with the series. The narrator seems to over emphasise certain words and the intonation is whacky.

Why oh why oh why did they choose an American to ham up a British accent?! It was deeply, deeply awful. I simply couldn’t listen any further than the first fifteen minutes before I cracked the threshold for tolerating awfulness. The story itself was promisingly good. I really enjoyed the Vampire Knitting series. Nancy Warren is a great author but they did her dirty with this narration. No need to buy another Audible book in this series. I’ll read it on a Kindle. Unless I find that this narration has put me off. Crikey!
