About this listen

Now’s not the time to pussyfoot around the issues. In this game, you’ve got to be brave enough to name and shame.

For too long, many of the companies, governments, and individuals claiming to do the most are nowhere near walking their talk. They’ve put up beautiful window dressing to distract from all the horrible stuff happening inside their houses. Behind the scenes, these groups’ actions hold back the very progress they claim to support. We’ve been treated like fools, falling into the trap of believing their lies and refusing to question their sincerity.

Greenwashing is the result.

An excellent and well-researched work that explains where and how environmental influence and information can lead us astray, and how we can move past the greenwashing to take actions that make a real difference.

Once you understand how greenwashing works, you can make better informed choices for the planet.

John has nailed it. He succinctly gives some history and context, educates from the perspective of his own professional and personal experience, and optimistically plots a realistic course forward. I now know how to make measured changes to my own behaviour, while also knowing where to put my hope for societal impact.
Thanks a million John!

I follow John and this was a really good write that pulled all of the greenwashing points into one place. I learnt a lot and as a result are far better at spotting the greenwash. Great Narration as well.

Great read for the climate conscious
