pretty good.

As a therapist who specializes in OCD I was anxious about how it would be portrayed. the author did very well, and it was an enjoyable story.

Hitchcock, Harper Lee and Galbraith combined

It’s a mystery told by the hand of a boy who see the world with other eyes. Extremely well narrated with a beautiful attention to the details. Got hooked from the first page until the end

Enjoyable

Overall, I enjoyed this audiobook. The story addresses some interesting themes that may lead children to think more deeply about the issues facing others. The story is mostly well read in a pleasant voice that was easy to listen to. The story is written by an English author and set in England but used American terminology throughout. I wonder whether this is an adaptation for an American audience. I felt that this, along with some of the language used by a 12 year old boy, caused the book to lose authenticity. Still an enjoyable audiobook though.

my 2 son's and I loved it!

the book was great to listen to in the car in traffic jams in London. my boys both enjoyed it thoroughly and it gave us lots of discussion about mental health.
