Good Series

I enjoyed this series and loved getting to know the Gibson family. I really enjoyed the stories.

I found the pace of each book a little slow with it taking a good 10 chapters before getting to the point.

There was and not as much steam as I’m used to and I would have liked to have seen more.

The narration took some getting used to but did get better as the series progressed (or maybe I got used to it). The female narrator was great, I did not enjoy the male narrator initially he spoke very fat and did not put the correct emphasis on the words he was reading. The integration between male & female recordings was clunky and not seamless, you could tell they were recorded separately and spliced together.

Worth the Credit! I Loved these stories!

This is a wonderful series and easily worth the credit! I grew to love these Gibson boys! This encompasses all kinds of tropes. But what I love the best is the camaraderie and fun between these characters. I did listen to this on audio. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are the narrators for all of these delightful stories. They did a wonderful job.
Below is the breakdown for each book.

Crank
Very enjoyable! I loved how they all called her Slugger :). Totally warranted but still cute! I love all these brothers! Their camaraderie and brotherly stuff is simply great to listen to. Walker had a few shocking revelations and I really don’t know what he would do without Peck. I LOVED Walker’s gesture at the end! Sienna comes from the Landry brothers series (which I haven’t read/listened to yet). I loved all her interactions with them. They sound like great big brothers! She is a delight and I loved her. Nana and Peck were my favorite secondary characters.

Craft
Holy Smokes I didn’t see this coming!
That first kiss in the pantry so HOT! I loved these two! This issues the whole school teacher/librarian fantasy. The problems that Lance and Mariah has were each huge. Tough to overcome one more than the other. The whole idea of the dating app was cute as well. I really thought that nerdy nurse was a different person. So well played! This is an enjoyable read and I am loving these Gibson Boys and their ladies. Next please!

Cross
This is my least favorite of all of the stories. Cross is a friend but really holds no interest before this and he basically disappears after. But it’s cute.

Crave
There is so much that goes on in here. History is what Hadley and Machlan are filled with And they need to cope. This could almost by my fav of the series. These two are steeped in the past and can’t seem to release to enjoy the future. It’s a struggle and to listen to their pain. On the plus side Sunday Dinners with Nana are the BEST! I just want to go and be there to hang. Then the brothers when they “help” each other with relationship advice. This is a good one!

Crazy
I love Peck and am so happy he get his own story. He has always been so helpful to his cousins and finding their women. That when it’s his turn to struggle. They offer him some sweet advice. Dillon is the perfect girl for Peck. They each have that happy, adventurous spirit that radiates from them. The BIG gesture at the end is soooo Peck and Dillon! I love this series and am sorry to see it end.

lots of really feel good hours!

I loved every one of the Gibson Boys, Peck being the absolute best of them all!
Except for the Cross novella, which I found ridiculous and unnecessary, specially because of the girl, whose name I don't even remember, this was a really sweet and enjoyable audiobook. It's not life changing, but good company for a while 😊

Not as good as I hoped.

I didn't care for Wen Ross as a narrator. His chuckles are annoying. The characters are predictable. It's hard to like a book when all the female characters get treated like garbage and they run back to a slutty male lead. Disappointed.

Stories that makes you want to fall in love

These were good as an entire series but the storyline Crave dragged on to way to long. I'm glad I stayed with it because Crazy was my favorite.

I liked the characters development so that as one storyline (book) ended and the others began, you could sit back and continue on listening.

Unnecessarily to long but overall a good series. Definitely worth the credit.

Well worth the credit!

I love to get collections of books but always worry that they might become monotonous or repetitive either because of the story or the narrators. This couldn't be further from the truth for this collection. Each character (both the Hero and Heroine) is unique and different so that it was exciting to hear each story. Peck is my favorite and the last book but I loved them all. And it being a collection means you really get your credit or money's worth with loads of listening hours.

The Gibson Boys

An entire series all with one credit! This book has everything you could ask for and then some. There are a few sensitive subjects involved that make the book even more realistic and suck you right in with them. I loved everything about this book from the writing to the narration. If you are looking for a small town romance with some steam involved, then look no further. This one is perfect for you!

Great value for money

I enjoyed the whole series of books all for one credit it's great value for money. it's a long listen but worth it. Its the first time I've listened to a book in this style, why cant all books be done this way, the narration is excellent. I think my favourite story was book 2 ..the scene in the cupboard had me laughing out loud. Nana is such a great character and I'm so glad she is there throughout the stories, she really tries them together. I will definitly look for more books with these narrators and by this author.

A great bundle

I loved these stories. I’ve read a couple of Adrianas previous books, and since I don’t have as much time to read these days, I thought I’d give the audio a whirl! I’m so glad I did, I devoured the books over a four day period, listening every chance I got. They are well worth the credit!
