I enjoyed this series and loved getting to know the Gibson family. I really enjoyed the stories.

I found the pace of each book a little slow with it taking a good 10 chapters before getting to the point.

There was and not as much steam as I’m used to and I would have liked to have seen more.

The narration took some getting used to but did get better as the series progressed (or maybe I got used to it). The female narrator was great, I did not enjoy the male narrator initially he spoke very fat and did not put the correct emphasis on the words he was reading. The integration between male & female recordings was clunky and not seamless, you could tell they were recorded separately and spliced together.
