About this listen
This writing tells of life growing up in Jamaica WI on a farm in a beautiful wooden house.
The only light that we had at night was a cuisine lamp or the moonshine sometimes.
The adults would tell stories at night. It was comforting but scary because of some of the things they talk about. Our imaginations ran wild and kids would not want to venture outside at night.
There are good and evil spirits out there even now, but in those days it was so real in our minds.
With the increase in high high-tech products, such as electricity, cars lights, and all sorts of machines, we are lucky today not to have to deal with a lonely dark jungle of this world.
