While well-written and skillfully narrated, the characterisation of CIA operations in this series is farcical, and the relationships best described as school-girlish. No matter how hard I tried, - and I did make it through most of the books - I just could not suspend my disbelief. Not one of characters felt real to me.

That's not to say others will not enjoy this book. I suspect it was intended as more "Mills and Boons" than "Tom Clancy." I'm sure there is a market for this.

I enjoyed the storyline of the series, but very nearly stopped listening due to the character called Ryan being the most annoying character in any book I have ever read or listened to. The narration was not great, making it difficult to separate the characters.

The narration wasn’t that good, the characters sounded very similar. The “Ryan” character was annoying and ridiculous!

What a soppy read, totally unbelievable that secret agent lets a nerdy lover tag along on ops with no training. Waste of time.

This box set should be split into 2 separate storylines. The most obvious one is the painfully mills and boon / teenage sexual tension between two of the lead characters. You can actually skip whole chapters of the whining pointless conversations.. and the story progresses at the same pace as it adds nothing.
