only one annoying thing was him dreading over taking a human life whilst in the heat of battle.
definitely looking forward to the next book.

The wisshy washy start to a really good book and slow start then the story jumps into gear and leads the race

its all right. had some interesting takes with the gambler class but i found the world building a bit short, not a lot of depth. the actual plot and story felt average and nothing special. this sounds more like a YA or early 20s. not really for adult, so that wasnt really good. since there wasnt any mention of age rating i assumed it was for adults.

its good to pass time. but for 8ish hours listening, not sure if the next credit for the 2nd book is worth it. anyway for book 1, didnt finish and had to put down.
