To me, this book felt somewhat overwrought & contrived compared to his other books. I persevered but didn’t enjoy it much.

It kept me interested, especially when doing mundane tasks. The plot seemed to be basic but it twisted at the end.

I really enjoyed the Fury , it gave me exactly what I was wanting . A little trip to the Greek isles with a who done it scenario . It was a quick listen for me and the narration was done well

I was so unsure about this book at the start.
I listened on the background of finishing one of Alex’s other books, The Silent Patient.

But, it didn’t take long for the main character and monologue to grow on me. I didn’t think there would be much in the story that would surprise me, but so many small and unexpected surprises and turns.

I loved this book and I grew to love the way it was written. So different to any other book I have read. I loved that it broke the 4th wall.

Highly recommend! I am an avid J.P Pomare reader and Alex’s is now equally one my favourite authors!
