Not the best in the series however I am grateful they continue.
Two short novella style stories make up this volume.

Cannot fault the Charlie Parker Series

Having read the majority of the series and then gone back and listened to all of them via audiobooks I'm a big fan, but the last two were only ok for me. I cant put my finger on it but it just wasn't as enjoyable as previous books in the series that were hard to stop listening to and made for many late nights. Its a pity as I have been looking forward to this for months now but hopefully Connolly will be back on form by his next book.
Jeff Harding did an awesome job reading the book. I had just listened to him read We Are here by Michael Marshall and he's always consistent at doing a great job.

Narrators voice made me struggle to listen- first time I've listened to a Parker novel & not in a hurry to do it again sadly. Story was ok but not one of the best in series.

Always well narrated but not usual standard of engagement. Was a great series but losing interest now that Charlie's daughters' storylines arent continuing.
