Marta
Sammy
And
Lloyd
All scholarship students at the prestigious Higher Realms .
What initially presents itself as a wonderful opportunity for them all, soon turns dark as one of them, the gifted Marta, is singled out for some of the worst kind bullying.
As tragedy occurs, it provides a catalyst for unraveling secrets, not just from the beaten down Marta but from the others as they struggle to protect their new fragile friend from her unusual family situation, the school, and the law.
Interesting debut novel from Ellie Keel.
To he honest, the relationships parings all took me by surprise.
Definitely didn’t go where most books would have gone
I was beginning to think that Rose and Max were going to be the main romantic leads but, this didn’t turn out to be the case
But that’s a good thing.
Very atmospheric, and suspenseful
Interesting to see what comes next from this author
Suspenseful, Dark, Academia
