Very Readable

This book is an essential to anyone interested in the early formation of American politics. The performance makes the audio of this book very engaging, and I'm not sure if I could have gotten through the book otherwise. Fascinating work.

I must for everyone who slept through history class

This is essential reading for everyone who would like to claim the know what our founding fathers meant when they crafted the US constitution and foresaw the Bill of Rights
Too many halfwits expound on what is or is not Constitutional.
Perhaps we can get to a more civil discourse if everyone was required to read & understand this epic compendium of constitutional intent!

Great Voice for Great Words

This version of The Federalist Papers carries with it an emotion I imagine would be used by the founding fathers and is adequately portrayed by the voice actor.

One of Three Essential American Documents

Every American citizen, and anyone who wants to understand the American government, should read the Federalist Papers, Washington’s Farewell Letter and the US Constitution. The writing of the Federalist Papers is superb as the three authors were extremely talented in the art of communication and there knowledge of the many forms of government. The reader did a decent job for a document promoting a new and bold form of government, a government, prescribed in law, to respect and to protect the inalienable rights of the individual. Although it took many decades to fulfill the Constitution’s mandate, the fact that these principles were written into law and the mechanisms put into place to eventually make it so for all. Unfortunately, we must remain vigilant to keep those in government from going backwards and deny individuals their rights as prescribed in our Constitution, in particular, the first and second amendments.
