For those who is wondering… it’s easy to understand the story of The Family Remains if you haven’t read The Family Upstairs.
But the thrilling and excitement of the story will be way more captivating if you read them in the sequence. I loved both books! Can’t wait to read another novel from Lisa Jewell.

Started where The Family Upstairs left off. Perfect number of narrators and delivered flawlessly. Plot was multilayered and detailed. Characters continued to this book and further developed beautifully. I would definitely recommend this book.

I’m not one to submit written reviews but I have not hesitated for this book. It’s been a while since I read The Family Upstairs so had forgotten some of the story but this new book weaves the first storyline all through it as the continuing story unfolds. Absolutely brilliant Lisa Jewell!!
