Publisher's Summary

In the beginning....

Three brothers - Gabriel, Michael, and Lucifer. Royalty. Archangels. United in devotion to their father and all his works.

But when Lucifer learns of their father’s latest creation - a new race, fashioned from crude matter and yet made in his image - he is consumed with resentment. Why have he and his angelic kind been overlooked?

After a bitter confrontation, Lucifer is cast out, doomed to an eternity of exile and punishment.

Unrepentant, he vows he won’t suffer alone. Mankind has made a powerful enemy - one determined to lure it into darkness and torment any way he can....

Very interesting subject matter 😎

It's cool to see a take on this topic. And see how it's woven into the Bible.

At times, it was hard to follow the story though because of the time jumps in the story. And with different characters... the voice work needs more distinction.

But it's worth a read. I plan to read the next book in the series.

written like a Danielle Steel novel.

really wanted to like this book, but it was a struggle to get through. it was a good idea for a story, but fails due to the boring plot, bland generic characters, poor research and overuse of the words balmy and bareback.poorly written and executed.

Great book to begin series

Don't agree with certain aspects of the theology but this isn't historical theology. Its a great story based on theology though and worth taking the time to read/listen. Nathaniel Brady does a superb job at narrating.

I Love This Story!

Exquisitely read! I read the book a couple of times, now this! The author definitely is a Prophet, as well as an author! This is beyond just imagination... it is Revelation of the love, sacrifice and ordained destiny for His Beloved, which burns in the heart of our gracious, Heavenly Father. The description of the 'First Heaven' is priceless!

OMG!!

How I enjoyed this book! I love this book as much as the Left Behind series! I sobbed when Christos watched himself being crucified in the future. Even though it’s considered “Christian fiction”, it makes you think what if...
Can’t wait to start the next book in the series, but only after reading this one again!
I love you, Wendy Alec! Keep up the great work!

Not for men

Way too gay. Author spent too much time describing the angels’ eyes, mouths, and hair. Kudos for tricking me out of 20 bucks.

Outstanding performance

The narrator really made this story come to life. As to the story itself, it was an interesting take on the scriptures. Well written. Perhaps an overabundance of testosterone since there wasn't even ONE female character (aside from Eve, Mary and a Jordanian princess, the latter speaking more than three lines of dialogue, which is more than I can say for the other 2 female characters).
