I quite enjoyed this book. The story and the underlying messages about family and believing in yourself were lovely. I found the female very difficult to listen to at the beginning. Her voice is very scratchy, and the way she over exerts in a stop start way is very difficult to follow. Thankfully later in the book when her character relaxes, her voice does too, making it more enjoyable and easier on the ears. 10/10 for the male voice, he was fantastic.

New favourite Hockey Fake dating romance?!?!
Hazel my girl hazel, I loved her the minute she was introduced in behind the net and loved her even more in the fake out, the way she was portrayed, such take no bullshit energy, and her very strong personality, such a pocket rocket. And Rory honestly just complimented her personality, he was the best book boyfriend, I love a man who shows his love through gift giving and acts of service, him being vulnerable and soft and sweet ugh gosh. I adored the friendship and relationship both Rory and Hazel had, they had insane banter and lovedddd the tension and flirting.
I guess we all can agree that Connor McKinnon was a piece of trash, the audiobook was perfect, nararated in duet style by Connor Crais and Kit Swann, it was my first audiobook narrated by kit swann and she was amazing, really enjoyed the audio!! If you love audios I recommend listening to it!!
