An Easy Flowing Story

I enjoyed listening to The Elven Sones box set. At first, I felt that it somehow lacked descriptive depth, however this didn't stop my listening to the story unfold. I actually began to enjoy the lack of some descriptive elements e.g. the sudden changes of location without the journey to get there. It was easy to listen to and absorb without mind-numbing, too numerous, complications.
I appreciated the lack of extreme, violence found so frequently, in modern literature. I think I've been traumatised for life by some of these books.
