I have LOVED this series! even though its been ages since I read the last book, it was easy for me to get in to this one. the Author did a wonderful job at recapping in a way that didnt seem annoying or clunky. I tried reading Onyx Storm before this and I had to re-read the beginning about 8 tines because I couldnt remember what was going on and who the characters were. I had read the other 2 books of that series more recently but I still stuggled SO much. I didnt have that problem with this book at all. I'm sad its over and I wish all the characters the best :)

Way to many new characters, I had to keep going back and re reading sections, because it keeps chopping and changing.
It really felt like someone else has written the last book, very disappointing.

I loved the first three books, but really struggled with this final book.

This while book series is an absolute Opus and, even if this author wrote no other books in her lifetime, she would still go down as one of the great writers of our generation.

The fact that this is her first series is even more astounding.
