By the time he and his arch-frenemy are banished from the kingdom and sent on an impossible quest for a (probably bogus) magical artifact, the humans of Esteria find themselves longing for the good old days when they were merely being annihilated by Lord Smoron.

Love the Theme
The story was fantastic and audible found the perfect reader for the job, good job audible. It was really just a great story over all.

A silly romp-but fun
If after reading the synopsis or back cover of this book, you expected anything beyond a very silly adventure, you are going to be disappointed.
If how ever you are in the mood for a light hearted adventure with a group of screwup teenagers who may or may not have discovered the last mythical item, then buckle up for a wild ride.
Younger readers who are not well read on Tolkien may not get why parts of the story are funny, due to the very derisive nature of this setting.
