Compelling story and talented performance

I hope more people get to experience both Sandlin’s writing and Gibel’s performance. Both are outstanding in this quietly gripping story that carries many narrative threads effortlessly throughout this remarkable book. Not your usual crime tale, with lead characters authentically drawn against the backdrop of Nixon’s impeachment during a hot Texas summer. I’m going to download the next one today.
