So many reviews rant about the crappy Aussie accent. And I agree it’s terrible. And I’m Australian. But it far from ruins the book. He is barely in the book and you just have to overlook / hear it . This book and the narrators are pure gold. The two leading characters are epically hilarious. The storyline is beautiful and you will literally laugh out loud more times than you can count on two hands. Brilliant. Will listen to again.

The banter! This had so many romcom vibes, I spent so much of this book giggling and laughing, it would have been a sight to watch me read this book! It was still a bit of a rollercoaster, there were tears and blushing (the spice!).

As I write this I realise that it’s really not many books that grab me by the throat and keep my attention throughout. This book caused me sleepless nights and I did not want to miss a thing. The male narrator has a bedroom voice and I thought that it would be hard to listen to all the time but it wasn’t at all. Great work by both narrators and great work by the author. It’s a gift to be able to write books in a series that aren’t the same and that are interesting and fun.
