Gripping
This book is amazing on so many levels.
a complex story, flawed characters and a historical background plus awesome descriptions of exotic places.

Another adventure
Yet again the narrator has distracted from the wonderful story being told. It’s confusing listening, the voices for the characters are at times so alike that it’s hard to know which person is talking. The story is complex enough without having to decipher which character is which. Having said all that, the story has continued to enthrall me and like any good story I’ve read I didn’t want it to end. I wonder what Francis of ‘Lymond,’ will manage to get up to in the next book…
