About this listen

From acclaimed author Dr. Jason Fung, a revolutionary guide to reversing diabetes.

Dr. Jason Fung forever changed the way we think about obesity with his best-selling book The Obesity Code. Now he has set out to do the same for type 2 diabetes.

Today, most doctors, dietitians, and even diabetes specialists consider type 2 diabetes to be a chronic and progressive disease, a life sentence with no possibility of parole. But the truth, as Dr. Fung reveals in this paradigm-shifting audiobook, is that type 2 diabetes is reversible.

Writing with clear, persuasive language, he explains why conventional treatments that rely on insulin or other blood-glucose-lowering drugs can actually exacerbate the problem, leading to significant weight gain and even heart disease. The only way to treat type 2 diabetes effectively, he argues, is proper dieting and intermittent fasting, not medication.

Jason Fung has yet again produced a great book that is a well researched and constructed guide to understanding the problem of diabetes and how we can go about prevention and cure of this terrible affliction.
Everything he writes is always well researched and very well written.
His other books the Obesity code and the Cancer code are also great to listen to in conjunction with this book to give a greater understanding of current health trends and the tsunami of illness besetting the world today.
Likewise he gives us a great understanding of the causes of obesity diabetes and cancer and how they are all linked.
Highly recommended to anyone suffering from diabetes obesity or cancer.

Hi Jason, thank you for sharing the truth about why we struggle to lose weight. I've had several attempts at losing weight, and it worked for a short time, and then I put it all back, plus extra. I was failing and thought it was because I wasn't trying hard enough. I happened upon one of your YouTube videos and could not believe the truth you were sharing; it made sense from the start to the end. My journey to weight loss was dramatic, but not as much as my wife's, who lost 50 kg in 12 months. Thank you!

I was with my back against the wall.

I wish I knew this earlier so I could of helped my mother earlier. She’s had diabetes for twenty years.
It didn’t need to be this way, I’m so angry with our doctors, and feel so silly for not realising the info in this book myself. It’s so simple, why did we all have to over complicate diabetes. It’s caused a lot of suffering for sooooooo many people!

This book is amazing!

Diabetes can be reversed once it is understood, yes it demands a change in dietary habits and with the support of doctors, dieticians and a mind focus on healing it is doable and it is not by counting calories and exercise. Read this book carefully, understand the ideas than apply. The combination of fasting and low carbs diet is the secret weapon against diabetes. It worked for me and countless others, it can work for you. No lifetime medication, ‘no surgery are required. If you fail, try again and again. The only faoilure is to Not Try. As it takes time to build an habit, It took years to become diabetic, but it only takes a few months to reverse it.

Hope for diabetes
