Publisher's Summary
It begins with a single gunshot, and Bishop Lynn Peterson watches in horror as a good friend, who is a member of the New Orleans Saints, collapses on the street. When a medal the player wore - a medal Lynn had promised to return to the man's family - disappears, Lynn is thrust into a suspenseful and fast-moving journey through four assassinations, an attempt on her life, conflicts with a mysterious and ancient society, and a behind-the-scenes conspiracy that reaches all the way to the White House. The turbulent, unstoppable intrigue challenges Lynn mentally, physically, and spiritually as she engages in a desperate battle with an opponent who is just as determined to kill as Lynn is to stop him, even though she has no idea where - or who - he will strike next.

monotone
couldn't get past the monotone of the narrator, so I have no idea if it's a good book or not.

Riveting story spanning two continents
The author crafts a detailed story of international intrigue, the White House, a female bishop, multiple murderers, and an evil man with multiple personas. There were lots of connecting threads that made for a compelling storyline, although it seemed the threads of connections were a bit over the top to believe.
Much of the story is set in the Balkans—which I really enjoyed, as I spent time there many years ago. I appreciated the author’s respect for their culture and quest for peace.
The narrator provided the storyline and characters with skill & I would definitely recommend this audible selection.
Sadly, I wish there were more audible plus selections available at this caliber.

couldnt stand it. BORING!
Didnt get too far. Supposedly adores the husband she constantly calls, "Love" and is a 'bishop' but lies and does foolish things. Give me a break!
