This was an awesome audiobook. The narration was amazing and definitely helped add a sultry and sophisticated vibe to the female protagonist. The romance was amazing with the reverse harem but definitely isn't finished yet in this first book. I've read books by A.K. Koonce before and was glad to see that this definitely wasn't a letdown that ruined the amazing reputation of her writing in my head. Because this is such a new series, not all of the books are out yet which made me hesitant to read it because I knew it ended on a cliffhanger, but I gave it a go and am glad I did. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has read the blurb and thinks they might like it. Enjoy!
