Christmas Day, and DCI Tom Reynolds receives an alarming call. A mass grave has been discovered on Oileán na Caillte, the island which housed the controversial psychiatric institution St. Christina's. Another great murder mystery from Jo Spain, made all the better with awesome narration. Highly recommend, looking forward to book number 5.

This is another great addition to the Tom Reynolds series by Jo Spain. Jo Spain writes a great police procedural, compelling and twisty and turny enough to keep me turning the pages. The combination of a great yarn and decent long-term character development is wonderful and Aoife McMahon's narration kept my headphones on long after I should have moved on to something else!

Difficult subject matter, but I persevered as once I started I couldn't stop. Incredible twist I did not see coming. Such a fabulous series, can't wait to start the next one.

Loved it. Enjoy the characters, great plot with a twist in the tale. Absolutely love the performance. I could listen to Aoife forever, she's one of the reasons, apart from the light 'who done it', that I listen to this series.
