It was heart wrenching and I needed to know what the ending was. Very surprising.

This is a book about trauma and disorders...if you are familiar with mental health issues - you may connect to this plot. Overall reading this story is like watching a car crash in slow motion. I think this book would be less depressing if read by a woman . The current reader sort of prophesies doom with his voice.

Easy listening however the story never really got off the ground. There were no twists, and the ending didn't seem convincing. Considering the subject matter it's surprising the story wasn't told from the main characters' POV's instead of just narrated from start to finish in a clinical way. The plot felt lacking and details repetitive. But I got through it in a couple of days so it can't have been terrible!
