The narration really let this book down

I'm not sure what happened between this and the first two books, but I really hope the author considers using the original narrator for subsequent novels as this is a really fun series.

Sadly, the quality of narration became a distraction and really took away from the enjoyment of the text. The main character was less peppy and going between the characters' voices was jarring - especially because the sound quality of each individual's recordings varied. I assuming Covid interfered with the recordings?

Hopefully this is resolved, otherwise I'd recommend sticking to kindle!
