I’m sitting at home alone it’s Father’s Day and my kids are at their dads. I’ve had surgery two days ago and can go nowhere and do very little so it seemed as good a time as any to devour The Couple Upstairs. Unfortunately my post General anaesthesia brain couldn’t focus on words on a page so Audible has come to the rescue. With my two dogs asleep at my feet I have listened to this incredible book from beginning to end in a single day. Having lived in Coogee In my early 20s and experienced some of the themes in my own life it’s felt like I was transported right into the story. This is spectacular writing Holly, congratulations!

loved this story! was great right from the start. the descriptions and language all so accurate and nostalgic from 2 different stages of life yet not so different too.
