Publisher's Summary

The number one best-selling trilogy is now available as a single audiobook! This audiobook contains 100 Days in Deadland, Deadland's Harvest, and Deadland Rising.

100 Days in Deadland: The world ended on a Thursday. In one day, the world succumbed to a pestilence that decimated the living. In its place rose a new species: vicious, gruesome, wandering zombies with an insatiable hunger for the living.

Deadland's Harvest: It has been 100 days since the zombies claimed the world. Cash, along with 42 survivors, have found safety in the secluded and well-guarded Fox National Park. The leaves are changing colors, a beautiful, brutal reminder that winter is coming. As the survivors prepare for freezing months without electricity and not enough food, they learn of massive zombie herds several hundred miles north...and headed their way.

Deadland Rising: It has been nearly one year since the zombie hordes claimed the world. As the plague eats away at its victims' bodies, the Fox survivors search for a safe place to rebuild what they have lost. But a dangerous new threat has risen, hunting them from every direction.

Good book with zombies, bad guys and good guys

I like that this book is written from a woman's point of view. The female lead was an office drone before the zombie event. She just sat at a desk and was happy with that. When she was faced with a life or death situation in the ladies rest room, she fought for her life, killed the zombie and then escaped the building. She ended up pairing with a truck driver/farmer/former Army Ranger named Clutch. He nicknamed her Cash. Cash had to quickly learn fighting and survival skills. The story is about their adventures and misadventures in the dangerous world of zombies and criminal humans.

There are a host of supporting characters, exciting action scenes, and love events, I enjoyed the book. It is a very good sound zombie book but not as outstanding as some. It is particularly good that all three books in the series are included in this one credit. That is a great bonus. I do recommend that you give it a listen. One negative comment, at first the narrator's voice sounds as if she is bored with her reading assignment. That put me off when it happened. Most of the time, however, she did a good job and handled male voices as well as female voices.

oh dear narrator

The story was pretty good, with only a few unimportant inconsistencies, I rather liked it. Sorry to have to say that the narration just didn't work.

Twilight with zombies - no thanks

Adolescent, not really for genre veterans. Smacks of the Twilight Series and weirdly, undertones of 50 Shades.

horrible narration

hollie jackson is probably the least talented narrator you will ever listen to. seriously, she sounds so bored, even during action scenes it's like she's reading a menu. i will avoid any other books she narrates, she is that bad.

Long Story

The story was very long and got to points where I just stopped focusing on what was going on. I did listen to the entries saga back to back, maybe that was the problem. I forgot who a lot of the characters were. This may be better if you listened to each book on own.

AWESOME!

Holy crap was this a good series. I was hooked right from the start. I thought the latter part of book 3 Deadland Rising, was a bit much, but the ending was sweet! I actually teared up at some of the deaths that occurred in the series. Some hit really hard. While there were very sad parts, the banter bewteen some of the characters was really funny. The plot was very well thought out and believable and the characters were well written and developed throughout the series. All-in-all, an excellent series.

...that narration...

I read these books a few years ago and LOVED them! So when I figured out they were on audible - I had to get them.
I kinda wish I hadn't noticed now.

Hollie Jackson might be great for self-help or romance or something - but not for an apocalyptic tale. She reads exactly the same way through the ENTIRE book. Really, really monotonous. It's fine for a minute or two, but after that?

I made it to the end of book one (barely) and have no desire to finish it. The story is as good as I remember, but holy cow! I can't listen.
I'll go back to my kindle and finish them.

A Good Story

I am big fan of the genre and this book has been well worth it.
It does get a little sappy with more of the love story at the end but I overall a nice addition to my collection.
