Returning to town after a weekend on their ranch in Montana, James and Connor Andderson learn firsthand that the dead are coming back to life. As the nation succumbs to an outbreak unlike anything ever seen, the brothers must gather their supplies and set out on a road trip to save their parents from a fate worse than death itself. Their naïve optimism quickly fades, and the choices they confront will leave them scarred for life.

Meanwhile, Emmett Wolfe, along with his daughter and ex-wife, leave Texas bound for a safe haven in Alaska. Along the way, they rescue a mysterious young woman from a shopping mall.

I really enjoyed this box set.
Loved the charactors and following the groups and their survival.

The story was decent and the characters good. However it should have had a disclaimer that it was packed with Jesus Juice. I was gagging often at the needless Christianity smothering the story. A pity as unless you're christian it detracts from the story.

I consume many zombie and post-apocalyptic audiobooks. This one is disappointing. Persisted through first book and somewhat into second before I had enough. Boring, weird idealistic characters like the brothers that kill without remorse but declare their love for each other, hug and cry. I kept waiting for things to happen to shake up the plot, but lost interest eventually.
