Lovecraft books recorded by Herriot

I would buy any Lovecraft book recorded by Herriot. Bring them in, right? They are that good.

Chilling tale, beautifully narrated

I really enjoyed this audiobook...especially at such a competitive price! The narrator's accent is pleasing (though, technically, the narrator would likely be American) and he has a good command of Lovecraft's formal style. Highly recommend!

Literally Perfect

I can think of no better voice to give the nameless surveyor recounting a terrible story he was told. An often overlooked aspect of Lovecraft's writing is how beautifully poetic his descriptions of terrible madness are. This recording brings that out. It's just perfect.

One of Lovecraft's best

Some of Lovecraft's best prose, very little of the racism. As usual, he over-explains & drowns the reader in foreshadowing, but still manages to make a trippy space mist frightening.
