Publisher's Summary

Heavenly Young doesn't have time for romance. The innocent nursing student is struggling to care for her ailing father, keep a roof over their head, and start a new career. Then fate further complicates her life by dropping two very different men in her lap and forcing her to make a choice that will change her life forever.

Dr. Ken Beckman - vascular surgeon by day, sadist by night - has three hard-and-fast rules: Never date where he works, never touch vanillas, and never get tangled up with a virgin. But the moment he meets Heavenly, he aches to toss his scruples aside and claim the untouched beauty. She's not ready for a man like him, but he can't make himself walk away - even when he discovers he's not the only one caught in her spell.

Seth Cooper, ex-cop turned private eye, isn't looking for a happily ever after, just a hot-and-sweaty good time. The minute he lays eyes on Heavenly, he's all for coaxing the angel into his bed. But it isn't long before she's so deep under his skin that he's contemplating putting his broken past behind him and turning his life upside down for her. Then he realizes he's got competition... Contains mature themes.

Awesome!

Fell in love with these guys during the original Doms of Her Life series. These wonderful ladies have done a great job of continuing the story while keeping it new and fresh. Christian Fox does an amazing job presenting the story and showing the individual personalities of the characters.

Dumbest book heroine ever!!!!

I can’t help but like this series as I’m a fan of the authors and love all the male characters but what do they see in a so called heroine who lies for no good reason who would rather sell herself to someone she’s disgusted by then ask people who care for help. Someone who let her father’s condition get worse rather than ask the doctor in her life even for advice. Stupid just stupid. She made herself a martyr for nooo reason. I’m so frustrated because it’s a good story but once again the chick ruins it.

Disappointing, but Christian Fox was amazing!

I fell in love with Hammer/Liam in the series this spun off from, and fell in serious lust w/Seth. I was super excited that his story, along w/Liam and Heavenly was coming. I stopped and started several times, but I just couldn't finish it. I felt I knew how it was going to end, since it seemed to almost replicate Hammer/Liam/Raine's story. Most disappointing for me is Seth wasn't the Seth from the previous series. His confidence and arrogance wasn't there, and the immature back and forth w/Seth didn't make sense, since they preached so much to Liam and Hammer about getting along and sacrificing themselves for Raine. I know it ends in a cliffhanger, but I'm sure this will be where I hop off the bus.

MORE Than Makes Up for the God-Awful Raine\Liam\Hammer Story

This is a surprisingly- and properly -tense story with pretty well drawn (but not polar opposite) characters. I left a separate review about the whole Raine\Hammer\Liam storyline under that book title...I only gave it an extra star for Christian Fox's...or Jacob Morgan's...Or Jason Clarke's...or whatever name this narrator is going by today...amazing Irish lilt when performing as Liam) but I'll add this here: If you're reading this story and want to know more about Raine, Liam, or Hammer, STOP. Don't do it. Those characters are drawn MUCH differently here than in their own story. I was extremely disappointed (and a little pissed, feeling misled) by the second book in. I didn't even bother finishing it. If you're a fan of those characters, you'll argue that they were stil! evolving in their own story, and that what we see in the Heavenly series is the culmination of their resolve and wisdom. Not so. Raine's and Heavenly's stories take place concurrently. In fact, so far it seems that you can follow Raine's story as it develops in Heavenly's. So far two major bombs have dropped with Raine in The Choice. So yeah. Down with the Raine\Liam\Hammer crapola. I wish I'd saved the credits. But this story, The Choice, is worth the credits, the exploration, and the suspension of belief.

Great start to a series

I loved how the story jumped timelines to coalesce back to the beginning and also run simultaneously with the events of The Edge of Dominance. The character building and growth were as flawless as the storyline. There were just enough answers given to offset all the questions still needing resolution. I cannot wait for the next book!

Disappointing book

The three co-authors have streeee.....eetched an already thin storyline so much, I wonder if this book actually went through an editing process at all! I kept skipping chapters, but regardless, the story hadn't moved forward. Feels more like a daytime soap opera, where each person's viewpoint of any single incident takes up to *THREE* episodes (err... chapters)! I don't have the patience to read (listen to) any more books about Beck/Heavenly/Seth, even though I'd been excited to finally learn Beck's story.

Bimbo with two smart doms!! Really? Ok... fine

A surgeon and a cop... clearly two smart doms... with a bimbo??? Why? Why couldn't the female be a smart woman? I wanted to slap her at times! She could have made her life better but she kept making dumb choices followed by stupid lies. Really? Why did these men fall for her? Not for intelligence for sure. The story is gripping... it is good... it is hot... its not better than Liam/Hammer/Raine. The narration is great. Yes, this is worth listening provided you have already listened to Liam/Hammer/Raine story. And, if you are looking for something similar then this one is for you. Worth the credit. Enjoy!

There is no choice but to listen to this series

This is the beginning of a new series but it also starts where Doms of her life series ends. Heavenly Young is a nursing student that helps Raine during her ordeal and Dr Kenneth “beck”Beckman and Seth Cooper are the two Doms that are helping Raine at that time that also fall for Heavenly. The back story for all three of these characters are so wonderfully written and you are just wanting to keep reading and not putting the book down. These three authors know how to write a story so you are intrigued. There is a cliff hanger and know we have to wait for the next installment but with these books it will definitely be worth the wait. Christian Fox’s narration is fabulous

Struggled But It Was a Nice Part 1

I struggled with this book a time or two; some of it being a little too long winded for my taste. Overall, I enjoyed the humor, most of the sex scenarios. I truly appreciate the dirty talk with the unpoetic names of body part's (pet peeve of mine). It is unbeknownst to me why I am not very interested in the men's backgrounds like I was with Liam and Hammer, but I'll still give part 2 a chance.
