This brilliant masterpiece comes to life with audible.
The director took us on such an imaginative journey of a family’s generation, of loss and greed.
All the actors in it are brilliant in their own unique way. As soon as Jennifer Tilley came on I instantly feel in love with the audible version.
Being a staged performance you have to understand the the director has power to alter lines of the original work of Chekhov as any director or producer would, and especially in this version of the production using both Russian dialect and American dialect some lines of the original play have been altered to suit the casts and performances needs.
However it is a perfect adaptation and sticks very close to the original story line of Chekhov giving the audience listening everything they need from the audience applause, the sound affects, the beautiful Russian music and the actors voices and performances - making you feel as though you are apart of the audience sitting watching the live production.
The audible version of this masterpiece should not be missed !

Chekhov at his finest !
