The Butterfly Garden made me call in sick for work. This story had me captivated and on a roller coaster ride of emotions that disturbed me; I wonder if I am flawed because I fleetingly felt some compassion for the monster? I have cried, laughed and cheered as I’ve listened to this audiobook and delighted in its twists and turns. I love it when a book is capable of making me cringe in horror and revel in its complexities.

I really liked this book but it should come with trigger warnings for some people. Lots of remarkable characters. Showing strength and resilience. Great storyline and concept. It was told in a really interesting way. I would recommend.

this book was so well written, I think. Not too much detail but just enough to have you squirm in places. The narrators were very pleasing to listen to and felt they suited the storyline and characters. I'd love to see this made into a movie.
