Love this series

Didn’t like the new narrator. Got so used to the female voice that had read previous books

Decent Listen, But Not My Favourite

The Brothers Hawthorne was my least favourite of the Inheritance Games series and I would have criticized it as an unnecessary cash grab if I didn't know there was a fifth instalment to continue this story, otherwise it felt disruptive to the integrity of the original trilogy. We're only focusing on two brothers, Grayson and Jameson, and even though Avery was in this, I missed her as the main lead. Their stories were separate for the most part and despite Grayson's feeling more relevant, Jameson's was far more fun. I loved the mystery and exclusivity of the game he played; his chapters were exciting. I liked all the new characters introduced on Grayson's side; they all earned their time. It was a decent listen and I will be picking up the next one, mostly in hope for a better ending for some of these characters.
