The main character, DI Blackwell is well done by the narrator/s as are each of the other characters. The story keeps you moving at a good pace giving a clear vision of victims and the criminals, not missing out on giving you insight into the detectives involved. I can't wait to read the 7th book. Each can be read on their own, although I found the reading order helpful in the detectives timeline.

Another great read. I just love this series. So happy with the ending. I’m a bit sad I’ve caught up and have to wait longer for the book after The Solstice.
