But it quickly becomes apparent that Lizzie and Arnold are not the only ones interested in finding the painting.

It took me a while to get going with confusion with some characters and aspects of the story in fact I put it down for a count of months and restarted but glad I did.

Really liked the narration, the plot and the interweaving of the past and the present. Arnold was always a positive to the story. Not surprised that they didn’t get together as this would have been unrealistic. I do hope David Hewson continues with this character and the further exploration of Venice; absolutely terrific!
