The books starts off slow but holy damn! Worthy the perseverance! Only issue with the performance is how the narrator says didn’t 😤

The book had me in its grasp the entire time, the way the author Amber writes is literally music to my heart and the voice actor Ruthie clearly defined different voices and had me loving every character voice and story. I read this book in a week and instantly went onto the second book ‘the throne of broken Gods’ that same day unable to stay to far away from this amazing story and character progression!

Usually I read dark romance / insta love / stalker or mafia romance books. First time reading fantasy dark romance and absolutely loved it. Great story line and really enjoyed the slow burn.
I highly recommend this one.
