I never thought I'd come out of my Massverse slump. This book is incredible, endless action, incredible and complex characters and a wonderful love story all tangled together. So excited for the rest of the series!!

I loved this audio book so much! Strong female character, Dianna, you’re a queen! It took a while to get used to the narrator’s style and I wondered if it was a missed opportunity for an amazing duet narration, but it grew on me! Fantastic job, Ruthie Bowles!

I love how the FMC was the morally grey one.
I enjoyed the world building that was sprinkled in slowly and easy to follow.
I wish the voice actor had a little bit more range but it didn't ruin anything for me it just made the MMC a bit stiff throughout the book and I had to relisten once or twice when I didn't know what man was talking.
I usually hate frequent flashbacks but they were so interesting that I loved them.
