I’ve read each of the Nic Costa novels as they’ve been available and this one is particularly deep and dark. However I did find it less satisfying than others because the resolution of the story is incomplete and what action there was, seemed to take place with “our” favourite team almost onlookers for much of the story. It is a good read, but at times it seemed to drag and eventually I finished it feeling unsatisfied.
