Publisher's Summary

It's just over a week until Sam will be Binding with Jared, and the only thing she wants is to spend that time relaxing and preparing for the ceremony. Unfortunately, she seems to be asking too much of fate, because suddenly she's lumbered with a number of distractions that have the potential to postpone, or even cancel, the Binding.

There's a guarded fiance to crack, a complicated assignment to deal with, Jared's ex to alienate, and a bunch of snobbish Master Vampires to win over - or offend, whichever. On the upside, things couldn't possibly be any worse, could they? Actually, yes they could.

Due to a cruel twist of fate, something strange is happening to Sam - something that is changing her in ways she doesn't like or understand. With the help of Jared and those closest to her, she has to not only handle the threats to the Binding Ceremony, but find a way to fix what has been done to her - and fast.

Very co fusing narration .

The narrator of the main female character couldn’t decide what accent to use and kept changing from cockney English to perfect diction. At times her accent was so broad she sounded like a twit.

***Suzanne Wright and her fantastical mind***

I have always love Suzanne and her books and this new series 'Deep in your Vains" is no different. This new series is totally different from her shifters series. This time she took on vampires is a very unique way that I haven't encountered before. Anyway its a fantastic series and I can't wait to read or listen to the next installment. Justine and PJ as the narrators are magnificent their just amazing and oh so very sexy *sighs*

Funny series

I’m enjoying this series. It’s not amazing literary work or anything, but it’s a fun twist on the vampire world. That being said, I can’t stand P.J. Ochlan’s voice for Sam. She sounds like a cockney sociopath with no redeeming qualities. Because he lacks inflection, the wittiness of her dialogue ended up getting lost. Total bummer. Still listened, still enjoyed most of it since it’s mostly from Sam’s perspective, but a bummer P.J. didn’t mimic Justine Eyre’s voice for Sam.

In Audio -- WONDERFUL

This is a great series, The Dark In You, and I'm pleased in is in audio now. I started reading these books on my Kindle and waited breathlessly for each new one. The characters are extremely strong, but hilariously funny--Fletcher is huggable. Watching both Sam and Jared mature was well done and the story for them and their vampiric differences moves along really well. If you like vampires (and believe me there are all kinds of them) you'll enjoy this series. I do suggest you start with the first book, it should be read (and listened to) in order. Ms. Wright's other series are excellent too. Werewolves (2 packs=2 series) the then there are Demons in another series. She has real talent and a great imagination. Keep the stories coming.

I didn't go to sleep till I had finished this one. I love all Suzanne Wright's books. I listened to this straight after I had listened to the first book in this series and enjoyed it as much as the first one.

The best narrators

I enjoyed the story though maybe not quite so much as the first book, but the narrators. They nailed the hero and heroine yet again.

Great!

I found this to be just as enjoyable as the first, if not more so purely because there was background on Jared given in this book. It didn't excuse how he behaved in the first book, but it certainly made him more sympathetic and understandable. I loved what happened to Sam and what it meant. When she was having that fight with Magda I cheered out loud when things finally fell into place for her. The audiobook was great, I really love the female narrator for this one. Just as a side note, there is a part in this book (Roughly 4:26:40) where the narrator says the line twice because she believes there was a typo. She directs the comment to the editor who clearly didn't pick it up. I haven't seen it pointed out in a review, but since this was released last year and it hasn't been updated and fixed I just thought I'd mention it in this review.

Overall I loved this one and I'm so happy there is still another one with this couple. Definitely recommend to those who enjoyed the first book!

The Bite that bands - 2nd Deep in your Veins Book

Really enjoying the series will move on to the 3rd book, my only real
Issue is the awful British/English accent for 'Samantha '. Its just so bad, it would have been better if the narrator hadn't tried so hard at a cockney voice which was just off putting. Other than that the narrator also left a note for the editor near the end of chapter 7 (about 1.05 secs from the end), its sad that the publisher let this pass, it obviously should have been edited out. So poor quality control there.
All of this doesn't take away from the fact Suzanne Wright is an awesome writer and I will continue reading/listening to her awesome books.

Book 2

I really enjoyed this book, Suzanne is are great author,I own many of her books, I do have a tendency of sticking with my favourite author 's i always look forward to the next book or series before searching for newer author. I like that the narrator's managed to keep the character's sounding real. The story line is funny romantic hot in places and I honestly laughed while listening to this book

This second in series is as fantastic as the first

This is the second book in the Deep in Your Veins series and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

The characters are a wonderful mix of good, evil and somewhere in between. Suzanne Wright has penned a series that is equally strong in both plot and characters. The romance and steamy moments are mixed with suspense, danger and adventure.
Justine Eyre, P.J. Ochlan, the female and male narrators give us the same outstanding level of voice acting that we were introduced to in Here Be Sexist Vampires.
