My title says it all. The author provides an account of the air war in Europe that is compelling and insightful. I feel the RAF's contribution to to the air war post The Battle of Britain was overshadowed by the 8th Air Force. This account shines a light on the harrowing and brave work of the RAF. Terrifying and an inspiration.
