This was a heart breaking story where Bourke losers his best friends in a car accident and they leave him a house that comes with a catch "Charlotte". It was sad to see Bourke struggle with the deaths of his best friends. I loved the banter between Charlotte and Bourke. The epilogue was beautiful and I can't wait to read the next book in this duet.

I really liked the way the author wrote, it was well put together, and the narrators did an excellent job. There were complex feelings and emotions to work through, including grief which was reflected realistically, yet the next minute I’m giggling at the FMCs PowerPoint presentation to the MMC!
The only negative was just how long it took for the MCs to get together, not till three quarters of the book! There was some spicy content, but not a lot.
