I’m to old for it but I still love it

I’m nine years old but I really like the story because it beautifully written and narrated. I got a baby one year old cousin and she loves Peter Rabbit so I would play it for her and she loves it so much and if she watches it on tv and Peter Rabbit runs she says “Go, Go, GO!
I love it so much

Gorgeous!

Absolutely loved revisiting Beatrix Potter's works, and appreciating them as an adult. Andrew Scott was wonderful as narrator, beautiful voice bringing his own magic to some of the most beloved stories.

Brilliant

It's Beatrix Potter what could go wrong. The performance was brilliant as well. I liked the little interview at the end.

Beautiful and Nostalgic

Andrew just brings these stories to life. His reading is wonderful and to hear Dame Patricia Routledge introducing the stories. I had hours of nostalgia being taken back to childhood and as an adult is seeing new morals in the tales

Narrated beautifully. My 2 year old is entranced by Andrew Scott's reading. Will listen again and again.

Bored by Hyacinth Bucket

My children do not wish to listen to Patricia droning on before their story begins. I’m going to have to work out how to return this. What a bore.

Inappropriate extras

The stories are generally well read. Andrew Scott is actually better at the female characters.

But why all the extras? My daughter listens to this at night and we have to skip the first two chapters to get to the stories. And then the end has an interview with Andrew Scott about the books? Why would my four year old be interested in that? So we have to make sure to end the book before the end.

The content of the interview may even be unsuitable for children. I don't know: I haven't listened to it myself yet.

Sometimes I find bonus interviews interesting but they shouldn't be in children's books. An otherwise very good book has been ruined and I'm beyond disappointed!
