A continuation of The Highlanders Tale which gives us more of Alex’s backstory, his education in Paris, travels through Europe with his sponsor, meeting with Charles Stuart and his friendships that help sustain and enrich his life. Above all, his desire to be with his family in the Scottish Highlands. Well developed characters and wonderful narration.

Another brilliant story by Julia, about two of our favourite characters from the Jacobite Chronicles. Wonderfully narrated as always by Will Deanna and Mary.

Julia Brannan’s wonderful characters come to life once again at the hands of Will M Watt and Mary Jane Wells. This back story to the Jacobite Chronicles is beautifully written and very well researched. I loved every word, both spoken (by the narrators) and written (hard copy). Thank you once again Julia, Will and Mary Jane. Waiting for Part 2 with bated breath.

Loved the backstory of a major character in ‘The Jacobite Chronicles’, and the historical veracity. The author provides useful notes after the story and the narration is excellent. 5 stars & looking forward to the next book!
