Having recently had the privilege of meeting Dr Trent I was profoundly moved by her story. Hearing it in more detail in The Awakened Woman not only made me appreciate her courage and humility even more, it inspired me to explore my own sacred dreams and honour why I am here as a woman and a mother of future generations. I am honoured to be a sacred sister and inspired to follow my own sacred path. Thank you Dr Trent for sharing your story and shining a light for us to follow.

Listening and hearing Tererai read her own story helped deepen and heighten the emotions felt throughout the book.

If there is one book to 'must read' before end of the year make it this one. The empowerment is over powering for everyone who reads it but especially for Sisters who yearn to be better, do better and to live more purposeful lives, awakening their inner core in order to benefit family and whole communities.

As an African Zimbabwean woman I can’t begin to describe what this book has done for me in a few words fit for a review. I see me in Dr Tererai, I see my sister Chenai, I see my friend Ruby, I see my Mum Flata. I experienced all manner of ecstatic emotion whilst reading this book. I feel what Oprah felt. This book triggered my pain body in the most peculiar way at the same time exhilarating a sense of championship and camaraderie. All I can say is I am Tererai.
